Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is located in Vellore, India and is a private deemed university. In 1984, G. Established by Vishwanathan as the Vellore Engineering College, the institution offers 54 undergraduate, 34 postgraduate, 9 integrated, 2 research and 2 MTech industrial programs. VIT consolidated its subjects in the study of 20 schools with VIT Law School on its Chennai campus. VIT implements a fully flexible credit system (FFCS) that allows students to create their own time table to choose the subjects and faculties under which they wish to study. VIT treats undergraduate students through its engineering student entrance exam. It is held every year in the months of April and May.
