Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) which is a scheme recognized by the Government of India. The objective of the PMKVY scheme is to encourage the employable and increase the work of potential and existing daily wage earners by making monetary offers Rewards and provides quality training to them. Already standard level skill salaried people will be recognized as per the scheme and average prize money for them has been kept from ₹ 2000 to ₹ 2500. The plan is targeted to distribute US $ 15 billion in the initial year. The training programs have been specially developed on the basis of National Professional Standards (NOS) and capacity packs in various fields. Plans have been prepared by various Sector Skill Councils (SSC) with the participation of the industry. The National Skill Development Council (NSDC) has been made the agency for this. The outlay of this project has been approved by the Cabinet. The goal of this scheme is to train 1 crore Indian youth students from 2016 to 2025. As of 18 July 2016, 17.93 lakh candidates out of the 18 lakh students enrolled for the scheme were trained.
