Jamia Millia Islamia University is in New Delhi and is a central university located in India. Originally established in 1920 during the British Raj in the United Provinces (present-day Uttar Pradesh, India) by the demand of Aligarh University, it moved to its present location in Okhla, Delhi in 1935.
